For the Record, 2023

For the Record was a passion project I completed in early 2023 with unused wine rack off cuts.

The project came about when my house ran out of vinyl storage when a new housemate moved in. I wanted to create something unique that matched other pieces of funirture we have and could house; all our new records, the stereo and speaker system, as well as the turntable. It posed a fun challenge as the off cuts were all about 800 x 300 x 15 mm however had a 150 x 15 x 15 mm slot cut down the middle where two pieces would slide together to create an X shape. This meant I had to cut everything up and jigsaw it back together.

Made from American Walnut and Rosewood offcuts.
